v Jonathan Zenios is the new chair of Jewish Care —“the organisation I love” — succeeding Steven Lewis in September.
He brings to the post 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and a host of communal involvements, including previous roles at Jewish Care as a trustee and treasurer.
Mr Zenios has also sat on the boards and committees of organisations including the London Jewish Forum and Highgate Synagogue. He said he had always respected Jewish Care for its “crucial role in Anglo-Jewish life”.
In other changes, Mr Lewis will become the charity’s president, with the current incumbent, Lord Levy, appointed Jewish Care’s first life president.
