We are proud to offer a strong and ambitious curriculum that places equal importance on both core and foundation subjects. Lessons are engaging, enriching and designed to develop curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning. Alongside this, pupils benefit from a range of specialist subjects including music, Ivrit and PE, all taught by dedicated specialist teachers who bring enthusiasm and expertise to every lesson.
At Hasmonean Primary School, we pride ourselves on excellent academic progress and attainment, while also placing great emphasis on children’s emotional wellbeing and positive mental health. We understand that children flourish when they feel supported, confident and cared for. Our wellbeing provision includes a dedicated wellbeing room and a variety of wellbeing sessions, including Lego therapy, helping children develop resilience, confidence and strong emotional awareness.
We also recognise the needs of modern working families and are committed to providing flexible, supportive care throughout the school day. The school is open from 7:45 am until 5:15 pm, with a breakfast club available each morning. We also offer specialist after-school provision, including a separate club tailored specifically for our early years foundation stage children, alongside after-school care for the rest of the school community.
