What the Anti-Boycott law actually says - Millis pay attention

Section 1 - In this bill, “a boycott against the State of Israel” – deliberately avoiding economic, cultural or academic ties with another person or another factor only because of his ties with the State of Israel, one of its institutions or an area under its control, in such a way that may cause economic, cultural or academic damage.

Millis in common with the wholly bankrupt left (who liken someone like Neve Gordon who calls for boycotting Academics working in Ben Gurion University with people boycotting cottage cheese because of price fixing) is whipping up hysteria because at long last Israel has shown it will not tolerate those who connive with anti-Israel foreign elements to try and bring down the demoocratic state in which they live.

Secondly it is a civil, not criminal action so it is up to an aggrieved person to bring suit - say for example a professor at Ben Gurion University against Neve Gordon (let it be soon) who is unable to secure a position abroad due to Mr Gordon's outrageous calls to boycott the very instituton which employs him.

Thirdly these same left wingers claim that no other country professing to be democratic has laws like this. Well that may be true I for one have not looked into the laws of every other democratic country to check but I know for one thing that no other democratic country has had to face the outrageous and unwarranted attacks on its legitimacy from Islamic/Socialist reactionary countries most of whose human rights records are the poorest on earth and yet who deem themselves competent to judge Israel's human rights records, nor has any other democratic country been so scrutinised over every minute action it takes to protect its citizens from terrorism and the crazies who were "democratically" elected in Gaza/Lebanon and who daily call for its destruction or against extreme left wing nutjobs who in their pursuit of the destruction of Israel are willing to overlook the anti-democratic anti-Semitic and homophobic sayings and antics of so-called Imams etc. who they openly invite to the UK to spread their unspeakable trash.
