It's a little early for an April fool prank, so I guess we have to take this story from today's Haaretz at face value.

Oren Zarif, a self-styled healer, has had a dream in which he sees the messiah riding through the streets on a white donkey and blowing a large shofar, heralding the redemption. Nothing too unusual about that, perhaps, except for the identity of the messiah. It is Yaron London, a well known Israeli TV personality.
Oren Zarif treats dozens of people each day with his subconscious powers. His website is full of testimonies of praise from satisified patients. Since having his dream, he has contacted an advertising agency to begin a publicity campaign next week to herald the advent of "our master and teacher the King Messiah Yaron London, may he live a long life."
Zarif has ordered a 1.5 meter-long, black shofar at a cost of about $4,000 and hired the services of a rabbi to teach Yaron London how to blow it.
"I'm working hard on [London's] awareness frequency, and I'm trying to convince him to participate in the campaign photos. I see him with a beard, a hat and a shofar," says Zarif.
Yaron London, meanwhile, told Haaretz: "Write that the messiah has nothing to say."
Perhaps he's just waiting for Zarif to come up with the white donkey.
