Wake up, papal knight

I see in The Times, that that indefatigable fighter for inter-faith relations, Papal Knight Sir Sigmund Sternberg, is quoted as saying in regard to the Pope’s decision to lift the excommunication of English bishop Richard Williamson who denies the full extent of the Holocaust:

“As one who has struggled for many years to keep doors open and to pursue the resolution of dispute and conflict by dialogue, I see little merit, whatever the provocation, of freezing a relationship which so clearly needs clarification and discussion.”

Sometimes, Sir Sigmund, that liquid that is falling from above is not rain…
