Veras came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 against AC Harpo at Home in their second league game of the season (Camden Musicians League). Jonny Erdman scored a hat trick and his first goal was a scorcher from 30 yards out. He was voted man of the match by player manager Jonny Erdman.
In the second half Veras played a 5 man midfield and began to own the game, culminating in the winning goal in the final 15 minutes. Harpos counterattacked strongly on several occasions but failed to equalise.
However both teams played a very sporting game which the fans found a pleasure to watch. Next week come and watch Veras play Away to Submariners at Market Road Holloway (12 p.m. kick off).
