Let's compare Navi Pillay's urge to condemn Israel at the Islamic toy Committee for Human Rights and her lack of urge to condemn much worse facts (in Darfur) and her total lack of empathy towards the sufferings of the new Nobel Prize for Peace, the Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo. Navi Pillay made a mockery of Human Rights in the UN.

In the two years since her appointment in September 2008 as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Pillay has only referenced China in three statements, including one in 2009 that dealt with Mr. Liu, said UN Watch. During the same period, Pillay criticized the United States in seven statements, including a New York Times op-ed that accused the U.S. of having "eroded many of the most basic human rights guarantees of the modern era."

Fantastic double standards for China and USA, whose influences in the UN should be at least equal!
These double standards are applied as well for Israel on one side and its Islamist enemies on the other side. But in this case, Islamist influence on the UN is of course greater than that of Israel.
