Tracing the Tribe - The Jewish Genealogy Blog: An introduction

Aren't you curious about your family's past?

For more than 20 years, I've been tracking my families of interest across Spain, Iran, Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Europe, Israel and North America.

Tracing the Tribe is the highest-ranked, award-winning and first Jewish genealogy blog - since 2006 - and was a natural step from my previous work as Jewish genealogy columnist for the Jerusalem Post's Metro weekly ("It's All Relative," 1999-2005), YNetNews, and articles in newspapers, magazines and journals - covering Jewish, secular and genealogy topics - across North America.

The blog helps researchers learn about the newest resources, databases, events, books, personalities, gen technology and more around the world, as it covers Ashkenazi, Sephardi and Mizrahi resources. Food traditions, music and art also play an important role in learning about our ancestors, and posts also focus on those topics.
