Should British Jewry write to William Hague?

The Conservative Foreign Secretary, William Hague, is demanding that Israel allows "unfetterred access" to Gaza. Presumably he is implying, as a logical corollary, that Israel must now allow Hamas to rearm, enabling it to launch further missile attacks on Israel.

Should British Jewry now formulate a letter, to be sent to William Hague, explaining that such a policy will inevitably lead to war?

What do you fellow bloggers think? Is such an idea, a waste of time? Or worth exploring?
