once the ship is captured, the old name should be painted over, or covered with a banner, and since news media always refer to the name of the ship, they will feel obliged to at least mention the new name
i see gilad shalit temporarily becoming a household name, and israeli spokespersons issuing such statements as
"we are sure that rachel corrie would have protested against gilad shalit's four years of solitary confinement"
and
"to hamas: if you release our gilad shalit, we will release your gilad shalit"
i see ashdod harbour filled with israeli banners saying "welcome gilad shalit"
i see all the humanitarian aid stamped "from gilad shalit"
i see a lot from my little bowl!
