PhD help on greyhound racing

I wonder if anybody may be able to help me.

I am at Sussex University doing a PhD in Contemporary History. My chosen subject is a social and cultural history of greyhound racing 1926-1951 and I would be interested in hearing of any Jewish involvement in the sport during that period.

Perhaps older readers or their descendents may have recollections, anecdotes, ephemera, newspaper cuttings etc. relating to greyhound racing or could possibly suggest sources I might be able to investigate.

One of the aims of my thesis is to demonstrate the inclusivity of the sport during the stated period hence my appeal to the Jewish community as one amongst other sections of society.
