We are a group of Belgian students. During the last year of our secondary school, we want to work on the project called "Live and Remember", which has the objective to honour a forgotten soldier of World War II.
We selected the jewish sergeant Max Scheddle, who died on the 4th of July 1943. He served the Royal air force volunteer reserve. He was burried in the Gent City Cemetery.
Ghent is our home town, and we are very interested in knowing more about this person.
We've been working on this project a fiew months now, but we still haven't found any relatives. If you can help please contact Indi Geurs [maxscheddle@hotmail.com]
