Livingston's World on Jnet Radio

When Mike Segall, owner of Jnet Radio asked me to present a three hour program on a Jewish internet radio station, I was less than enthralled with the idea. After all, who listens to internet radio?

But that was in January. Since then I had the opportunity to scour digital radio and internet radio and was appalled that though I could find a plethora of Asian and Muslim offerings I could not uncover a single Jewish content radio station.

Sure, there were a couple of highly publicised (at least in the Jewish press) launches of Jewish radio stations in the distant past, by neither lasted. This is truly a sad state of affairs.

And so I asked myself 'Shouldn't we support Mike Segall's endeavour to give a home to the Jewish voice with www.jnetradio.com?' With this in mind I finally agreed to present a show to add whatever wind beneath his wings I could muster.
