LIBYA: Double dealing at the UN Human Rights Council

FEBRUARY 28, 2011. - The American writer Lester Bangs (1948-1982) once said: “Every great work of art has two faces, one toward its own time and one toward the future, toward eternity.”

The following comments were made by representatives of the top UN human rights body about Libya on November 9, 2010. Their two-faced and ludicrous remarks were made at a UN Human Rights Council session. Their dim-witted words have now surely come back to haunt them.
