Arms sales

I have just learnt that Sir Sadiq Khan is “appalled” by next week’s Defence and Security Equipment International arms fair in London, given the tragedy unfolding in Gaza. He insists the capital must not become “a marketplace for those who wish to trade in weapons”.

If Britain refuses to sell guns, China will step in, raking in huge profits that could instead stay here, funding schools, universities, the NHS, and infrastructure that strengthens our economy and improves our health and longevity.
