Six-Year ZOA Campaign Results in U.S. Government Policy Protecting Jewish Students from Harassment, Intimidation and Discrimination

The U.S. Department of Education just announced that it will interpret and enforce Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to protect Jewish students.
Now, when Jewish students face a hostile environment at their schools, they'll have legal recourse.
Schools will be obligated under the law to fix the hostile environment AND make sure that it doesn't recur, or else risk losing their federal funding.

Is it about time the UK did something similar? I recall reading about some nasty attacks on Jewish students at York university earlier this year.
