Hague not Vague

William Hague is in Israel for important talks with the government over a vital joint film industry deal (and perhaps secret discussions over Iran).
But he has also set aside time to meet Palestinians in Jerusalem, something that will no doubt endear him greatly with his hosts (think Robin Cook and Har Homa). He will be meeting Palestinians who protest against the barrier at Bili'in and elsewhere (if they aren't arrested before getting to the meeting).
Weren't the Tories, and Hague in particular, supposed to be pro-Israel?
Update: Looks like the Israeli government is really angry at Mr Hague. They've postponed the talks on strategic co-operation. Mr Hague's response…yeah…whatever.
