Bring in Shas

As I write, coalition talks are continuing in Britain. This wheeler-dealing is familiar post-election territory for us in Israel, of course. So far none of the analyses of coalitions in other countries, including Israel, that I've heard and read over the past couple of days has mentioned our simple magic formula for resolving the coalition conundrum: Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. Once he's on board - and with him the Shas party - you're home and dry. I suggest party leaders in Britain call Rav Ovadia into their negotiating teams at the earliest opportunity.
