This year, our Borehamwood and Elstree Mitzvah Day on November 21 will not only be cross-generational, but it will also be cross-communal. Borehamwood and Elstree United Synagogue has teamed up with Ohr Yisrael Federation Synagogue, Radlett United Synagogue, Yavneh College, HJPS and Little Bicks nursery, with a potential further couple of partners on the horizon to join our Mitzvah Day soon.
I am currently in the process of organising a range of speakers, and a celebrity or two! (tbc), but in the meantime I thought you might be interested to see the almost final project line up (below). We are really keen to get volunteers on board for all our activities so anything we can do to highlight them would be fantastic.
Our current spokespeople include: Rabbi Dr Naftali Brawer, Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue, the new Associate Rabbi, Rabbi Boruch Boudilovsky and Tony Arnold, Chairperson, Borehammwood and Elstree Synagogue.
ACTIVITIES (945am - 3pm will be confirmed shortly)
