An interesting day

Being Sunday, I took the kids to cheder. It's great fun, since you get to hear what other members of the community think about this or that issue.
Israel invariably comes up -- because synagogue members know of my connections -- and most people seem to be getting weary of the shenanigans of the Netanyahu government. But I tell them: "Do not despair. Our Hope is not lost." We have new organisations which are pro-Israel our way, such as JCall, which challenge the official line.
Anyhoo, after the natter, it was off for a bit of veterans' rugby. Creeping decreptitude meant that I could play only as a Number 8. You know the drill: get the ball, stumble 5 metres, fall over. Great fun. Then it was time to pick up the kids, lunch and a snooze.
