Martha Argerich, one of the greatest classical pianists, who is now in her 70s, has just recorded her first Yiddish performance.
She appears on Myriam Fuks's new album Ver Bin Ikh, accompanying the Belgian Yiddish singer on a ballad.
Argentinian-born Ms Argerich (right), whose Jewish mother was from Eastern Europe, won the International Chopin Piano competition in 1965.
Other classical artists Ms Fuks has recruited for the album include Evgeny Kissin, Mischa Maisky and Roby Lakatos.
