Weizmann UK friends Cathy Wills and Robert Lewis are helping to fund Professor Dan Yakir and his team at the Weizmann Institute of Science in research to understand the global carbon cycle.
Their support has enabled a new custom-built mobile research laboratory to be taken around Israel to measure carbon exchange. This mobile laboratory is being used in the semi-arid pine forests in Israel such as the Yatir Forest to monitor carbon exchange.
