th Sky News and the BBC, Vivien Creegor has since made a name for herself as a freelance journalist and high-profile chairperson. Now, though, she is has a new role — as a nun.

Ms Creegor, 50, is starring in a new British film with Irish comedian Ed Byrne, Ruby Wax’s husband. The film, Round Ireland with a Fridge, is based on the book by Tony Hawks in which a drunken bet results in the author hitch-hiking around Ireland with a refrigerator in tow — and running into some romance along the way.

Ms Creegor plays “the nun” who blesses the fridge. The comedy, which also casts Josie Lawrence, Sean Hughes, Brian Kennedy and Valerie O’Connor, is set to be screened towards the end of this year.
Ms Creegor tells People: “We have been shooting scenes in Surrey. I had to wear a nun’s outfit and do an Irish accent. It was a lot of fun.” She adds: “I’ve got my fingers in many pies at the moment.”

She has recently been playing Ruby in the production of Alfie at Baron’s Court Theatre, west London.
