Victoria Braverman

London-based Victoria Braverman has lost more than four stone in a year - and she says she did it by eating as much as she liked.
Ms Braverman, 43, joined a Swiss Cottage weight-loss group two years ago after she says she had piled on the pounds in her 30s. The principle she says, is to educate yourself into a low-fat diet, where you can eat an unlimited amount of certain "free foods" on certain days. At 5ft 5in, is now a slim size eight. "I feel completely more confident and happy," she tells People.
"I had tried to lose weight in the past, but it was when I turned 40 and I looked in the mirror and thought: ‘I don't want to look like this any more'."
Reluctantly, Ms Braverman joined the Slimming World weight-loss group through her mother, who persuaded her to give it a try. "I didn't believe it at all. I thought it was ridiculous but it just works."
Does she worry about putting the weight back on? "No, I know what I can get away with."
Ms Braverman, who runs a voiceover agency, says she has always loved her food. "My mum was a brilliant cook when I was growing up. Food has been one of the major reasons for being."
She adds: "I used to go through life hungry, but now I'm never hungry."
Perhaps not too many bagels, though.
