A man visiting London from Israel has been jailed for 10 days after filming up a woman’s skirt at Bank Underground Station. 

Martin Stone, 62, pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court last Thursday. 

Plain clothes British Transport Police officers spotted him recording his victim while standing behind her on an escalator and seized from him two mobile phones, a camera and a spy camera pen.  

He was also arrested and remanded in custody.

CCTV footage showed Stone following his victim.

Stone later told officers he had covered up the flash on his phone with tape.  

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah White said: “Stone’s vile predatory behaviour is evident from his targeted actions and specialist equipment.

“Upskirting is a sickening invasion of privacy and this result sends a clear message on how quickly we will act against this disgusting form of sexual offending.”
