A full-page advertisement setting out the aims of the Arab Peace Initiative appeared in Wednesday's Guardian newspaper.
The Palestinian Authority ran the same advert in Israeli papers last week in a bid to influence public opinion ahead of Israeli elections. The Saudi-led initiative proposed a settlement based on Israel's return to its 1967 borders.
