Twelve months ago it was Shabbat UK's centrepiece event, with community members flocking to take part.

Now, even more people are expected to put their bread-making skills on show at the Great Challah Make.

An estimated 9,000 men, women and children will be rolling, kneading and plaiting as they join in Shabbat UK's own take on The Great British Bake Off.

The flour will be flying at the main event in north-west London, and at challah-making sessions in Manchester, Essex, south London and at individual synagogues around the UK.
