The Jewish Community Centre for London, along with north London photographer Amanda Norton, is running a competition in order to make a photographic map of the synagogues around the globe.
Click through to see some of the entries so far - including shuls in Barbados and India.
Closing date is September 30, 2010.
There are two categories, under 16s and over 16s. The winning photographers will receive a prize courtesy of UK Digital Cameras and the chance to appear in a gallery exhibition next year.
