Israeli Eurovision star Harel Skaat has refused to cancel a concert in Paris following the terror attacks in which 132 people were killed.

The singer, who took part in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest and came second on the Israeli equivalent of X Factor, said he wanted to show solidarity with Parisians. He said: "I had the choice to stay in Israel and postpone everything, but I decided we should live our lives and not let anyone break our soul.

"We are used to having incidents like that here in Israel and I can understand what they're going through now."

The show will take place on December 8 at a venue close to the Bataclan concert hall where 89 people died.
