The Duchess of Cornwall received some tasteful advice during her visit this week to the Holocaust Survivors Centre in London for the next time she and Prince Charles travel to their lodge in Romania.
One plucky survivor who was born in the country, after asking after "the old boy" ("He's very good, he's in Norfolk," replied the duchess) recommended they try some local soup.
What type, she enquired. "Ciorba," he said, "Romanian meat soup."
Which, hopefully, she will be able to enjoy at her leisure. The poor royal was kept so busy at the centre that she had no time to finish her cup of tea.
