The son of a Jewish cyclist killed in a collision with a lorry, has called on the Mayor of London to “stop promoting cycling in an unsafe city”.
Dr Clive Richards suffered a heart attack after he was struck by a lorry on Archway Road in Highgate last August. The 67-year-old grandfather, from Whetstone was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
An inquest at Barnet coroner’s court last week failed to determine how the accident occurred.
His son Peter, 35, told the Evening Standard: “I don’t want any other family to go through what my family had to go through.
