Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer is to give a speech at the Jewish Labour Movement’s annual conference event later this month.

In a coup for the organisation, Sir Keir will give a further response to the  Equality and Human Rights Commission’s report into antisemitism in the party, which found evidence of “unlawful acts harassment and discrimination” as well as “political interference” in cases involving anti-Jewish racism under Jeremy Corbyn.

The JC understands that other senior Labour Party figures are set to also take part in the virtual event on November 29.

JLM’s parliamentary chair Dame Margaret Hodge and former MPs Ruth Smeeth and Dame Louise Ellman are also giving speeches.
