Mike Katz, JLM National Chair, and Andrew Gilbert, Conference Chair, said: “We are very proud to be hosting Keir Starmer as our keynote speaker in his first public engagement with Jewish Labour members since the publication of the EHRC report.
“There’s a long road ahead to rebuild the relationship between the Jewish community and the Labour Party.”
JLM now have more than 4,000 members. The conference is open to anyone to attend with tickets priced at £10, with reductions for students.
In 2018 former Labour leader Gordon Brown delivered the keynote speech to the JLM conference in which he said: “I cannot be silent” on the issue of antisemitism, which he said was “something fundamental to our future”.
