Sheara and Amy Abrahams produce a West End musical in 48 hours, earning acclaim from some of the nation’s leading actors

Talk about dramatic. North London sisters Sheara (left in picture) and Amy Abrahams have set themselves a theatrical challenge that has earned acclaim from the crème de la crème of London's theatre world, including Dame Judi Dench, Robert Lindsay and Stephen Fry.

Next weekend the duo, members of Eyebrow Productions - an entirely voluntary-run theatre group - will attempt to produce a polished performance of musical Me and My Girl to thousands of people at the London Palladium, having rehearsed for just 48 hours.

The concept, known as Showtime Challenge, was initiated by Eyebrow Productions in 2004. The team pick a musical, a theatre, and a cast - who have six weeks to learn the score - before gathering them for the first time two days before the performance. All proceeds from the show go to charity. "There are a few mini nervous breakdowns happening all over the place," Amy, a 27-year-old journalist, tells People. "There's a lot of pressure on the cast, but they are all amazing and it will be the most amazing feeling afterwards."

"It's not about divas and egos, it's about working together in a strange time constraint," adds Sheara, 28, a costume designer. "People have said we are crazy."
