Journalist Jake Wallis Simons filmed himself walking around London in order to discover if the streets were still safe for Jews in the wake of rising anti-Semitism. In a report for the Telegraph he said: "Many of my Jewish friends are beginning to feel that way. And as somebody who is half-Jewish, I feel both sides of the problem keenly. "Even the Community Security Trust, an organisation that provides security for Jewish events around the country, advised me to keep to the main roads and be aware of escape routes at all times. “But it seems that British Jews do not need to feel constantly under threat. At the end of a long and unexpected day, I felt prouder to be Jewish – but exceptionally proud to be British.”
