Over 1,100 people attended Gefiltefest, the annual celebration of Jewish food, on Sunday.
The figure was a record for the festival, which has been running for six years, and a record for JW3, the Jewish community centre, which hosted Gefiltefest for the first time this year.
JW3 chief executive Raymond Simonson said the event was "the biggest single-day festival we've had since the opening of the centre" in 2013.
He added:"To have this many people here for just one thing is phenomenal. When the community can put on events like this - cross communal and multi-generational - it tells everyone that we are a vibrant community."
