leading business journalist Jeff Randall has shown he is no mean fundraiser by heading the quest for £1.5 million for a Jewish studies chair at his old university, Nottingham.
Its holder, Agata Bielik-Robson, gave her first lecture on Monday. "If you are interested in the make-up of modern Britain," Randall said, "why wouldn't you be interested in the Jewish community?" - which has "punched above its weight for more than 200 years".
