Countdown star Rachel Riley has given birth to an “adorable” baby girl, Noa.

The TV presenter, who met her dancer husband Pasha Kovalev on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, took to social media this week to share a picture of the newest addition to the family.

She revealed in a beaming post that Noa was born “15 days after her due date, late on Friday night to the sound of fireworks.”

The proud mum said Noa’s big sister, Maven, who is 23 months, had “already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles” which the couple felt was “a good sign.”

The 35-year-old added: “Massive thanks to the wonderful home birth midwives team and my doula who looked after us all so well.”
Ms Riley recently revealed that she suffered a miscarriage before falling pregnant again with her second child.

“At 35 I'm considered old biologically. Thankfully, I seem to get pregnant easily which I don't take for granted," she told Ok Magazine.

Speaking ahead of her due date, she also revealed that she and Mr Kovalev were planning a home birth.

'We've planned a home birth because my daughter Maven arrived so quickly the midwives said, "Don't even try to make it to the hospital this time", she reportedly said.
