The ice bucket challenge has become inescapable, invading almost every Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feed in the world.
Now the stunt has spread to shul too, with countless rabbis lining up to have cold water poured over them.
Among the British-based rabbonim taking a dunk have been Chabad's Bentzi Sudak, Belmont United Synagogue's Elchonon Feldman, and Drugsline's Aryeh Sufrin.
Those jumping aboard the bucket bandwagon are well-intentioned. The campaign has raised more than £50 million for motor neurone disease charities.
But the question now remains: will Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis rise to the challenge?
And more pressingly, isn't it time someone designed a waterproof kippah for the occasion?
