Mr Bibring said: “It is such an honour to meet His Royal Highness, and especially in Vienna, which means a lot to me.
“During the Holocaust I lost my parents, my freedom, my childhood hobbies and sports, and my ability to go to school – but I am so proud to be British, and today is a special day.”
Mr Knoller said he was “so happy” to be in Vienna to remember his parents.
Both men speak on behalf of the Holocaust Educational Trust, which arranged the visit with the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
The trust, founded in 1988, aims to raise awareness and understanding of the Holocaust in schools and among the wider public.
