articlemain

Pardes House primary school has received a grading of "good" from Ofsted in its latest inspection.

The strictly Orthodox boys' school was subject to a short inspection during its summer term, and given its grading at the beginning of the new school year.

Inspector Jean Thwaites commended school staff for having a "clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the school and taking swift action to bring about improvements when they are needed."

Pupils were praised for being "well mannered, polite and courteous to visitors", while "parents who responded to the online questionnaire indicated that their children are happy and feel safe."

Pardes was last inspected in 2011, and also ranked as "good" on that occasion. The latest inspection commended the school for having "maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection."

Joel Sager, headteacher of Pardes, said: "We are delighted by the outcome of the inspection, which validates the tremendous efforts of senior leaders, teachers and all our staff.

"We have a happy and enthusiastic staff and pupil body and are extremely well supported by our parents and Governors. Now we look forward to taking the school to greater heights."
