A man has been arrested after allegedly shouting antisemitic abuse at a Charedi man.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the JC they were called at 11.41pm on Monday to “reports of a man shouting racial remarks” on Clapton Common in North London.

The Jewish Community Council of North London published a video on Twitter, which they claim shows the abuse being thrown at the victim, Chaim Gluck.

Police said a 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order. He was taken into custody but has since been released as police continue their investigation.
