Police called to 'collision' between bus and two people in Golders Green

Police confirmed both pedestrians were taken to a hospital in central London, although neither suffered injuries believed to be life-threatening

Police were called to Golders Green today after a bus was “in a collision” with two pedestrians.

Police cars and ambulances were seen outside Sami’s Restaurant on Golders Green Road, in Barnet, North West London, shortly after 9am.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed both pedestrians were taken to a hospital in central London, although neither suffered injuries believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.

A police spokesman said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 09:12hrs on Tuesday, 16 July to reports of a road traffic collision in Golders Green Road, NW11.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a bus in collision with a female pedestrian and a male pedestrian.”
