Perhaps MP Nadine Dorries, who has been suspended by the Conservative party for deserting Westminster for the jungle to appear in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, should have opted instead for Jewish Mum of the Year. The honourable member for Mid-Bedfordshire, who will face a diet of worms, kangaroo genitalia and cockroaches on the celebrity challenge, may be a practising Catholic, but she is actually halachically Jewish.
