The organisers of this year’s Limmud conference have confirmed it will return to Birmingham after its new hotel venue proved a success last month.
The Hilton Metropole was the central location for the annual cross-communal education for the first time following many years previously at different universities.
Five other hotels were used for helping to accommodate a record 2,750 participants, while some sessions took place in the nearby National Exhibition Centre.
Ben Crowne, who will be co-chairing the conference in December with Steve Weller, said, “The new site has allowed us to host our largest event ever while preserving Limmud's distinctive atmosphere, and feedback so far has been excellent. Coming back here next year will let us build on the great work done by the 2015 team to create an accessible, affordable and unmissable event.”
