Ofsted has not learnt its lesson, it seems.
Last year, inspectors caused anger when they turned up at a Jewish school on the eve of the Jewish New Year.
Now, according to Orthodox weekly Hamodia, the heads of independent Jewish schools have been invited by Ofsted to attend a meeting on new inspection standards - on the first day of Rosh Hashanah.
It's ironic when you consider that a number of Jewish schools have been ticked off by Ofsted for not teaching respect for other faiths.
An Ofsted spokesman said, after being told of the clash, that if representatives of Jewish schools could not attend, "then we will work with them to find alternative dates".
Still, Education Secretary Nicky Morgan should be handing out the detentions - or at least copies of the Jewish calendar.
