TV watchdog Ofcom has rejected a call to reconsider a complaint into The Promise, Channel 4's controversial drama on Israel.
Stephen Franklin, a member of the Zionist Federation, had accused the programme of being antisemitic, biased and likely to increase attacks on UK Jews.
The four-part series on British Mandatory Palestine and its legacy, which was written and directed by Peter Kosminsky, was broadcast earlier this year.
In its original rejection of Mr Franklin's complaint, Ofcom said: "Just because some individual Jews and Israelis were portrayed in a negative manner does not mean that the programme was, or was intended to be, antisemitic."
In a letter on Tuesday, Ofcom executive Marlene Dias told Mr Franklin that there were no grounds to review its previous decision.
