Craig David has just launched a new clothing line with Selfridges which he says was inspired by the UK garage music scene.

As well as launching online, Mr David’s Tribute Collection will be in stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

The range of hoodies and T-shirts will feature lyrics from the Jewish singer’s most iconic tracks.

The chart-topper said: “I wanted a fresh and exciting new clothing line for my fans that represents where I am musically today, but that’s also influenced by the style of where I came from.”

The clothes became available yesterday, with the launch coinciding with Selfridges’ Music Matters season, which it said celebrates the “relationship between music and style”.
