UJS Hillel has appointed the Jewish Social Action Forum's campaigns manager David Brown as its executive director.
Mr Brown has worked for a number of social action and youth organisations and is a graduate of the Jewish Agency's Machon young leadership programme. He will take up the newly-created role in June, when current chief executive Daniel Marcus steps down.
Lindsay Davidson will become finance and resources director. She has worked for a number of finance firms in the City. Joe Tarsh is due to take over as UJS president later this summer.
The union will relocate to the new Jewish Community Centre, JW3, in Swiss Cottage, north London, later this year.
Current UJS president Alex Green said: "This symbolises a transition. We have gone through a lot of consultation and strategy work in the last couple of years. This is the coming together of all of the work. The community recognises the importance of UJS's work, and moving to JW3 adds a new dynamic for us."
