Natalie Haverstock pops up with her balloon-making show

articlemain

This is Natalie Haverstock, also known as, Miss Ballooniverse.

An award-winning entertainer, she claims she can sculpt anything out of balloons and spends her time doing just that.

A former actress, Ms Haverstock is making a name for herself as a crowd pleaser at a variety of events and simchas.

She recently appeared at a London charity do hosted by the London Taxidriver's Fund for Underprivileged Children. The daughter of the late, world-renowned violinist Gypsy Adam, who appeared in the film Fiddler on the Roof, she tells People: "It was wonderful to be performing in the Great Room at the Grosvenor where my father played at so many simchas over the years."

Ms Haverstock was working as a comedy actress when an agency suggested she become involved in balloon art.

"I picked up a balloon and it became my absolute passion. It was everything I had been searching for. It enables me to entertain and be creative."

She has since performed in Harrods and Selfridges and last month, at the opening of the new Ted Baker store in Covent Garden.

So, what can she make? "I love doing hats. I made one which I wore to Ascot." She also sculpts jewellery, superheros, birthday cakes, and people including Elvis, Thomas the Tank Engine, and caricatures of guests. "That's ever such a laugh," she says.

Miss Haverstock, who lives in Canary Wharf, and her creations, will be appearing at the Highgate Square, north London, on June 12 and at the Barnes fair in July.
