Novelist Naomi Alderman has been chosen for an elite international scheme to encourage young artists sponsored by Rolex. She will spend part of the coming year being mentored by one of the world’s leading authors, Canadian Booker-prizewinner Margaret Atwood.
Alderman, whose next novel, The Liars’ Gospel , is “an unusual take on the life of Jesus”, is also a keen computer gamer, the co-creator of an app called Zombies, Run!
